Parties and nightlife
RIU distinguishes 2 party formats: adult Pool Parties and Family Parties. Its official information restricts access to eligible RIU guests. Wearing white or booking transport does not itself grant admission; verify your hotel, date and event type.

Establish eligibility before making plans
Read RIU Party's official conditions and confirm your specific hotel and event. We do not describe third-party tickets as guaranteed admission to a guest-only party. If you are not eligible, compare independently bookable shows and nightlife instead.
| Your situation | Required check | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| RIU guest | Hotel and event format | Every party admits children |
| Staying elsewhere | Official eligibility | Buying a transfer grants admission |
| White-themed event | Theme and date | Every white party is a RIU event |
| VIP area | Benefits and extra cost | VIP replaces entry requirements |
Verify the program for your travel dates
Use the official or hotel calendar for your actual stay. Distinguish recurring events from special dates, save the confirmation and recheck for changes. An undated poster or an event in another city is not a reliable Punta Cana plan.
Dress comfortably for the theme
For a white party, choose light clothes that also work for another evening. Check footwear, pool-access and permitted-item rules. Carry only what you need and decide where your phone will stay. Families must confirm the specific family event; admission to that format should not be extended to a Pool Party by assumption.
Transfers between resorts
Ask your hotel whether it organizes transport, where it departs and how the return works. A ride is not an entry ticket. If booking transport separately, establish access eligibility first. The RIU hotel excursion guide explains how to communicate the exact hotel and pickup point.
Choose an alternative if RIU does not fit
Coco Bongo, Imagine on a confirmed date, or a reservable bar evening may suit visitors staying elsewhere. Compare the full USD price and the atmosphere. Avoid buying a product that promises RIU admission without explaining how eligibility is established.
Frequently asked questions
Can I attend while staying at another hotel?
The reviewed official information limits entry to RIU guests. Confirm any exception directly rather than relying on it when buying transport.
Are children allowed at a white party?
It depends on the event format. Check whether it is a Family Party or Pool Party and its specific conditions.
Do I need a Viator ticket for RIU Party?
Do not assume that. Check official eligibility and what your stay includes first; our alternative links are not RIU admission tickets.
